Travel Lite RV – Rove Lite 14BH
Length: 16’ 6”
Weight: 2500 lbs (GVWR)
Sleeps: 2
The Rove Lite range from Travel Lite RV has a choice of four different floor plans. The 14 BH is the bunk option, making this small travel trailer capable of sleeping four people comfortably.
The trailer is a one piece seamless fiberglass construction from front to back.
On the exterior of the travel trailer there are two storage compartments, one at the front and one at the back on the opposite side.
The front jack is manual as are the four stabilizing jacks on each corner.
A power awning is available as an optional extra.
Moving inside, at the front of the trailer you’ll find the bench dinette which converts to a double bed.
In the kitchen area there’s a two burner stove top, a stainless sink, microwave and a 12v fridge. Although compact, there is a nice amount of storage in the kitchen cupboards.
The bathroom is a wet bath set up with no sink, obviously to save on space. It’s small, but will definitely do the job.
At the back is the bench sofa which will convert into another bed, and above that is a fold down bunk.
Although one of the most compact RV’s on this list, the designers have made excellent use of the space in this great little trailer.

NuCamp – Tab 400
Length: 18’ 3”
Weight: 2831 lbs (GVWR)
Sleeps: 2
The instantly recognisable teardrop design of the NuCamp Tab 400 makes this one of the coolest small RV’s around and has been updated for 2023.
Outside you’ll find a small storage compartment with motion sensor light.
All the necessary electrical and water connections are available as well as an exterior gas port should you wish to attach a griddle.
On the roof there is a 100 watt solar panel as standard to keep the lithium battery topped up.
An awning is available as an option.
As you step inside, the first thing you will notice is the build quality and the modern feel.
The front door has built in compartments as well as a pull across screen.
The shelf at the front has recess lighting and the pothole window has clever storage built in around it.
The dinette which converts into a double bed now has a really well designed fold up bunk, which when set up sits neatly above the double bed. Underneath the dinette benches you’ll also find lots of storage space.
The kitchen has a large window and a nice retro feel with a circular end unit. There is lots of storage in the kitchen and the sink and stove top burner have flush fit tops for more counter space should you need it. There is also a highly economical quick cooling 12v fridge.
The bathroom is a wet bath set up and for 2023 now features a small sink.
At the rear of the trailer is the double bed with a large stargazer window.
The NuCamp Tab 400 is one of the smallest RVs with a bathroom, and the super high build quality and excellent design make it one of the best small trailers on the market.

Winnebago – Hike 172BH
Length: 20’ 7”
Weight: 3596 lbs (GVWR)
Sleeps: 4
Probably the only trailer with an exoskeleton, the Winnebago Hike 172BH has lots to offer for a unit that measures just over 20 ft in length.
Outside, the Hike 172BH has a power front jack and power stabilizers on each corner.
There is a storage compartment at the front and at the back, and a pull out outdoor kitchen with 2 burner stove top and a mini sink. There is also a 7 ft power awning.
Inside the trailer, the single slide out creates the space and is also where the kitchen is situated.
The kitchen has a 2 burner stove top and nice size stainless sink. To the side of the sink and cooktop is the gas/electric fridge and a convection microwave. On the other side of the slide out is a large pantry which could also be used as a wardrobe.
For a small trailer the bathroom is a really good size. You have lots of space in the shower, the toilet is separate, and there is a sink with counter space and a cupboard below.
The u-shaped bench dinette converts into a double bed with cupboards all around the roof space. Opposite the dinette on an adjustable mount is a 24” TV.
At the other end of the trailer are the bunks. Both the bunks are large, measuring 48” in width, plenty of space for kids or adults.
The Hike 172BH is a rugged trailer designed to cope with rugged terrain and will make you comfortable anywhere you want to stop.

Wingamm – Oasi 540.1
Length: 17’ 7”
Weight: 7716 lbs
Sleeps: 3 + 1
The Italians are known for their style, and the Wingamm Oasi 540.1 is no exception. This tiny euro motorhome is now available to U.S. customers.
The Oasi 540.1 is based on a Fiat Ducato and has a seamless one piece monocoque fiberglass body. This effectively eliminates any chance of water leaks and rot.
It’s a front wheel drive, petrol 9 speed auto and at under 18 ft in length this RV will fit in any standard parking space.
Outside there is a storage compartment on the side as well as a large rear bumper storage area.
On the roof is a 120 watt solar panel as standard and on the rear is a backup camera.
The first thing you will notice as you enter is the build quality and style. The cabinets, the upholstery and the overall finish are superb.
The kitchen area has a twin burner stove top and sink and there is also a good size fridge and a convection microwave.
All around the living space there are storage cupboards to be found and recess lighting where needed.
The dinette area feels large and 2 travel seats are also incorporated into this area. The swivel table can be adjusted to almost any position and will drop down to convert into a single bed.
Above the dinette area is the main double bed which has been cleverly designed with a cantilever hinge to drop down from the ceiling. When pushed back up again (fully made up) the bed disappears into the ceiling space above your head where it is barely noticable.
Considering the size of this motorhome, the bathroom has a surprising amount of space. It is a wet bath set up with a large sink and lots of storage space.
As with most things, style and quality come with a hefty price tag. If the Oasi 540.1 is within your budget, and you’re after a stylish small RV with a bathroom, then I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

KZ RV – Sportsmen Classic 130RB
Length: 16’ 9”
Weight: 2800 lbs (GVWR)
Sleeps: 2
One of the smaller travel trailers on this list, the KZ RV Sportsmen Classic 130RB has plenty of great features.
On the outside there are four manual stabilizing jacks, and a small storage compartment on the side.
Although normally on a trailer of this size any awning would be manual, the 130RB has a power awning along with exterior speakers and an led light.
Stepping through the door you will find a hanging closet, and directly opposite you is the entrance to the bathroom.
Suprisingly, it’s not a wet bath arrangement. The shower and toilet are separate, and although it’s a small space you can pull the shower curtain and have a little elbow room. There is also an exhaust fan above.
The designers have also managed to give you everything need in the kitchen area, and you’ll find a decent size fridge, a twin burner stove top, a big sink and a couple of storage cupboards.
The dinette area has good light from the three windows and also converts into the queen size bed. Above the dinette there is also ample storage in the overhead compartments.
The Sportsmen Classic 130RB is a great little couples camper that could be towed by most SUV’s.

Grech – Turismo-ion
Length: 19’ 6”
Weight: 9050 lbs
Sleeps: 2
The most expensive RV on this list, the Grech Turismo is a masterclass in RV motorhome design and build quality.
Before building high end RV’s Grech used to build limousines. They took their expertise in luxury into the RV market, and 40 years later are building the best motorhomes money can buy.
The Turismo is based on a Mercedes Sprinter, and has a 3 liter, 7 speed turbo diesel engine.
Outside, the Turismo has a power awning, utility connections, rear view camera and a power entry step with light.
Inside the motorhome you will find that all the cabinetry is Swiss Krono and CNC cut for a perfect fit.
The kitchen has a stainless sink and an induction cooktop, there is also a microwave /air fryer and a three way compressor fridge.
Virtually everything in the Turismo is motorized and the galley seating and sofa will transform into a double bed at the push of a button.
There are power shades on every window as well as a large insect screen (also powered) that will cover the back doors when they are open.
The bathroom is a wet bath with porcelain toilet and made as a seamless one piece unit to eliminate leaks.
All the electricals are powered by four lithium ion batteries that are kept topped up by a 200 watt solar panel on the roof and a secondary engine alternator. The whole onboard system can be run from the Firefly phone app.
The power output provided in the Turismo is around 16,000 watts, almost double that of any class B motorhome on the market today.
The Grech Turismo-ion does have a very high price tag, but it is also the cutting edge of RV tech and build quality.

Keystone RV – Springdale 1760BH
Length: 21’ 5”
Weight: 4500 lbs (GVWR)
Sleeps: 5
Another “large” small trailer, the Springdale 1760 BH from Keystone RV features a slide out dinette for lots of extra space.
Up front on the outside is a very large pass through storage compartment, also accessible from under the queen bed inside the trailer.
The trailer has a stabilizing jack on each corner and nice solid feeling aluminum entry steps.
You have all your utility connections and a jack to connect portable solar.
There is also a 10 ft power awning with led lights.
Inside the trailer at the front is the main queen size bed with lots of overhead storage.
There is locker style storage under the bed as well as access to the pass through storage compartment.
The kitchen doesn’t have much counter space but this is due to the twin burner cook top being installed longways which is much easier for cooking on. There is also a microwave and a good size fridge freezer. Hung at the far end of the kitchen is a really nice Bose portable bluetooth speaker.
The slide out dinette creates a lot of extra floor space and will also convert into another bed. No space has been wasted by the designers and there are three drawers under the dinette for extra storage.
The bathroom is at the rear of the trailer and features a shower, toilet and good size sink. Although the shower enclosure isn’t huge, being separate is definitely a plus.
Also at the back of the trailer are the double bunks, one having a window.
One of the nice things about the Springdale 1760 BH is that even without extending the slide out everything in the trailer is accessible.
The Springdale 1760 BH is a very lightweight trailer for its size, and a great family camper with lots of floor space.

The dinette at the rear of the trailer is large and could comfortably seat six people if required.

The designers at Airstream never stop thinking of ways to create storage space and there are lots of clever storage options in the trailer.
Airstream focuses on towability and usability more than any other RV manufacturer.
